Teign Valley Community Hall: Protecting Your Privacy
We keep a record of our hirers’, visitors’ and volunteers’ names and contact details so we can:
Arrange bookings, invoice hirers and keep them informed of anything they need to know in relation to their booking and use of the community hall;
Contact volunteers when we need their help at the hall and keep them informed of anything they need to know about the hall and their role in managing and maintaining it;
Contact keyholders in case we need them to open or close the hall or to return keys;
Contact any visitors where someone has tested positive for Covid-19.
Occasionally we may collected personal contact details as part of community consultation or feedback exercises, in which case we will ask for your consent to store that information for the specific purpose of the consultation or feedback activity only.
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep individuals’ personal data secure, and we will never pass data on to third parties to use for marketing purposes. If a volunteer leaves the TVCH team or a hirer has made no new bookings we will keep their data for no longer than two years. Personal details collected for Covid-19 purposes is kept for 21 days and then destroyed. Individuals have a right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on them, or to amend their personal and contact details, at any time. Contact us at email@example.com to do this.
